Cheryl Cole hot sizzling black in Cannes!

Cheryl Cole Gossips: She was getting paid £250,000 for a jewellery firm's gig, so we'd have expected Cheryl Cole to look sensational - and she didn't disappoint.

The singer was dazzling in a Roberto Cavalli black, floor-length, strapless dress complete with a sweeping fishtail.

Her arms and ears were weighed down with an incredibly expensive diamond bracelet and earrings designed by the jewellery film de Grisogono.

Cheryl performed some of her hits including Fight For This Love, Parachute and her new track, Stand Up.

She made several costume changes during her 30 minute set, which must have impressed her A-lister audience that included top fashionistas such as Naomi Campbell and Margerita Missoni.

After her performance, the Girls Aloud singer joined rapper Will.I.Am for most of his DJ set. The pair were photographed cuddling and dancing together, adding to the will-they, won't-they rumours.

She'll be spending a lot more time with the Black Eyed Peas star as their tour continues tonight in Antwerp, then Paris and back to Cannes for a private yacht party.

But Will.I.Am isn't the only star that Cheryl will be hobnobbing with at Cannes. The singer's career is really rocketing into A-lister status since the Cannes festival's organisers are reportedly keen to have her attend one of the big premieres.

And since L'Oreal, with whom Cheryl has just signed a £500,000 deal, are one of the festival's sponsors, the lovely singer will be in the company of other L'Oreal models including Eva Longoria, Aishwarya Rai and Lost star Evangeline Lilly.

The Geordie lass is definitely making good.
